Email is a business communication tool and BONE FISH LTD
is obliged to use this tool in a responsible, effective and lawful
manner. Although by its nature email seems to be less formal than other
written communications, the same laws apply. Therefore, it is important
that members are aware of the legal risks that are associated with
emails:
If you send emails with any libellous, defamatory,
offensive, racist or obscene remarks, you, the MEMBER, and BONE FISH
LTD can be held responsible.
If you forward emails with any libellous, defamatory,
offensive, racist or obscene remarks, you, the MEMBER, and BONE FISH
LTD can be held responsible.
If you unlawfully forward confidential information,
you, the MEMBER, and BONE FISH LTD can be held liable.
If you unlawfully forward or copy messages without
permission, you, the MEMBER, and BONE FISH LTD can be held liable for
copyright infringement.
If you send an attachment that contains a virus, you,
the MEMBER, and BONE FISH LTD can be held liable.
By following the guidelines in this EMAIL POLICY, the
email user can minimize the legal risks involved in the use of email
communications. However, if the user disregards the rules set out in
this EMAIL POLICY, he/she will be fully liable and BONE FISH LTD will
disassociate itself from the user as far as legally possible.

Requirements
The following rules are required by law and should be
strictly adhered to. It is prohibited to:
Send or forward emails containing libellous,
defamatory, offensive, racist or obscene remarks. If you, the MEMBER,
receive an email of this nature, you must promptly forward it to [email protected].
Forward a message without acquiring previous
permission from the sender.
Send unsolicited email messages.
Forge or attempt to forge email messages.
Disguise or attempt to disguise your identity when
sending mail.
Send email messages using another person’s email
account.
Copy a message or attachment belonging to another
user without express permission from the originator.
It is important to be aware that the information that
BONE FISH LTD collects is:
used to improve the content and functionality of BONE
FISH LTD.
used to inform members and visitors about updates to
BONE FISH LTD.
never shared with other organisations for commercial
purposes.
Personal
Use
It is strictly forbidden to use the BONE FISH LTD
emailing system for anything other than legitimate purposes. This
includes the sending of chain letters, junk mail or other types of non
legitimate email communications. All messages distributed via the
company’s email system are the property of BONE FISH LTD.
Confidential
Information
Never send confidential information via email. If you
are in doubt as to whether to send certain information via email,
consult with the Customer Services Department. Refrain from sending
telephone numbers, mobile numbers and postal addresses as the sending
of this information can lead to potential problems.
System
Monitoring
Members expressly surrender any right of privacy in
anything they create, store, send or receive on the BONE FISH LTD
system. BONE FISH LTD can � but is not obliged to � monitor emails
without prior notification. If there is evidence that a MEMBER is not
adhering to the guidelines set out in this EMAIL POLICY, BONE FISH LTD
reserves the right to remove his/her profile without prior notice.
Storage
of Data
Any information that is supplied by the MEMBER is
treated in the strictest of confidence. BONE FISH LTD will NOT sell or
redistribute a MEMBER’S information or details to any third party and
all information provided by the MEMBER will reside solely on the BONE
FISH LTD servers.
During the registration process, a user must supply
certain contact information (including an email address) � this
information is only gathered to contact the user about the SERVICES
available on BONE FISH LTD which they have expressed an interest in,
and for no other third party reason.
Any text data that is supplied to BONE FISH LTD by any
member or visitor to the site is stored in a database. In the same
manner, photographic material that is supplied to BONE FISH LTD by any
member or visitor to the site is stored on the server�s file structure.
Sensitive information � including a member or visitor�s name, surname
or email address are � under no circumstances � revealed to any other
member or visitor to the site. All personal data is stored in the
strictest of confidence and BONE FISH LTD adheres at all times to the
Data Protection Act.
Nevertheless, when completing a member profile/advert on
any of our networking sites, the MEMBER confirms that he/she consents
to displaying this personal information as a form of �self
advertisement�. Personal information that is supplied by the MEMBER is
displayed on the site and is on view for other members to see. However,
excluded from the profile advert is sensitive information such as a
member�s surname, email address and mobile number � and under no
circumstances will BONE FISH LTD divulge this information.
Cookies – A cookie is a piece of data stored on the
user�s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie
is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on
our site. We use session ID cookies only. For the session ID cookie,
once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Log Files – Like most standard Web site servers we use
log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser
type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform
type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends,
administer the site, track user�s movement in the aggregate, and gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are
not linked to personally identifiable information.

BONE FISH LTD carries out the following processes to
ensure the database is kept clean and valid:
BONE FISH LTD processes bounces and other replies,
and does its utmost to keep bounces below 10% of all messages sent.
Outbound email servers have valid reverse DNS
entries.
Standard role email account, including abuse and
postmaster registered with abuse.net. (Accurate maintenance of database
information).
Valid SPF and DKIM records are attached to each email
sent.
Feedback loop complaints are resolved within 2
working days.

Unsubscribe
If a MEMBER decides that he/she does
not wish to continue with the BONE FISH LTD SERVICE, he/she can
unsubscribe by clicking on the link provided in any email message sent
by BONE FISH LTD. Alternatively, the MEMBER can remove their account
information directly from the website by entering “My Account” after
logging in, and clicking on the link marked “Remove Old Addresses”. In
addition, the MEMBER can contact services at: [email protected].
All emails sent by BONE FISH LTD contain links to both the MEMBER’S
account page and also the cancellation page.
BONE FISH LTD will remove a MEMBER
from the SERVICE as quickly as possible. Once the account has been
cancelled, no further emails will be sent to the MEMBER in question.

Frequency
BONE FISH LTD cannot guarantee the
number of emails a MEMBER will receive on a daily basis. However, BONE
FISH LTD will only send the MEMBER emails which it deems to be of
interest. Nevertheless, as a result of the member matching system,
members in highly populated areas may � from time to time � receive
large numbers of matches and emails from other members.
Members that do not wish to continue receiving
communications of this nature are able to opt-out of receiving mail
from the BONE FISH LTD SERVICE. The MEMBER has the ability to
unsubscribe from any � or all � mails during their membership on the
service. This can be done directly by the MEMBER by accessing the
section titled �Your Details� and clicking on the link �Email
Subscriptions�. Here the MEMBER can pause/stop matches and email
communications.
Email
Types
BONE FISH LTD sends newsletters,
special offers, joining/password communications and confirmations, top
members, member replies and member matches to a member’s email account.
Third
Parties
BONE FISH LTD will not sell or
redistribute a MEMBER’S information or details to any third party. The
information provided by the MEMBER will reside solely on the BONE FISH
LTD servers.
Complaints
If a MEMBER or individual feels that
their email address is being abused, BONE FISH LTD can be notified at
the following email address: [email protected].

The following disclaimer is attached
to the bottom of each email: ‘This email and any files transmitted with
it are confidential and are intended solely for the use of the
individual or entity to whom they are addressed. If you have received

email are solely those of the MEMBER and do not necessarily represent
those of BONE FISH LTD.
Finally, the recipient should check this email and any
attachments for the presence of viruses. The company accepts no
